Camping in the Dry Tortugas
One of the most remote national parks in the continental USA, the Dry Tortugas are located about 70 miles west of Key West, which itself is at the south end of the Florida Keys.

Charles C. Deam Wilderness
United States Forest Service protected wilderness area right in our own backyard (well.. an hour away from Indianapolis anyway).

The Central Indiana Wilderness Club is a non-profit, volunteer run organization providing outdoor recreation outings for its members. Activities include backpacking, canoeing, bicycling, cross-country skiing, whitewater rafting, spelunking, snowshoeing and more.
